As we know a file extension is a short sequence of alphanumeric characters added after the name of a file and separated from the latter by a point.
The extension allows the user to a computer, but also to some programs, to distinguish between different file formats.
By default, in Windows, how to enable disable extensions is quite lengthy, in fact we have to go through the menu Organize / Folder and Search Options, navigate to the View tab, and then remove the checkmark from the respective option.
