OpenOffice has such a great feature that I have not seen in msoffice:
Export to PDF
OpenOffice has only one (big) advantage:
is free, is free, I can use under Linux and many other platforms
has many disadvantages:
is very slow (the last 3.2 has made some progress though)
its functions and often carries some discomfort
every time you open a file generated by Office encounters a few surprises ...
especially in presentations. pptx.
But this is not so much a problem of OpenOffice as of msoffice not
has no incentive to seek a standard format for interchange with 'the-rest-of-the-world'.
I have no objection to office even if they think a product from the price outrageous. What we do not accept is that the government and virtually
all public and private distributing documents in Office formats
forcing users to have this expensive software to view them
correctly, when they should use open formats and in my opinion
should be to open the office. odt OpenOffice and the like, and not to open. doc and the rest.

Dear linux
no cracks Office. Simply copies are readily available without any control activation (corporate version or developer). And this is part of Microsoft's strategy, preferring to let you install a product illegally and then push you to buy it rather than prevent you from installing in the first place (another well-understood strategy).
Then I'd be curious to know the feature "additional" in OpenOffice, as far as I know OpenOffice has not, for example:
1. Connections to external databases via ODBC and OLEDB (something you can do but you must first import the data into "their" database)
2. connections to multidimensional databases (OLAP cubes) and use Pivot Tables
3. A professional-level graphics engine
4. automatic updates from Windows Update
ETC. ETC.
Then "90% of people do not use these features" may be true at home, but in a business is another subject.
The only thing that certainly has more than OpenOffice Office are compatibility problems with Office files.

Fantastic, finally you updated with this magnificent gem.
Stellina disappeared, office genuine, haul you love

I do not understand why many people persist in crack Microsoft Office when OpenOffice is free, with some small incompatibilities with macros, that "90% of users do not even know what they are!" For the rest of the higher court, has many additional features included that MS does not.

An application has been reversed,
but if I would rather block the use of office without a license, as I do?
not the message with the star, just make it unusable.
Thanks
